101 Things Every Boy Should Know

Insomnia got the best of me a few nights ago and so I wrote down what was on my mind. Scary I know. Some of these are quotes from people I respect and some are original. Some may be my new version of an old quote and others I couldn't find the original author to give them credit. Leave a comment as to which ones are your favorite. Enjoy this midnight wisdom...(that means, forgive me if they don't make sense.)

  1. Never let em’ see you sweat.
  2. Haste makes waste.
  3. Whether you think you can or you think you can’t you are probably right.
  4. Joy is a state of mind and happiness is temporary.
  5. Good fences make good neighbors.
  6. If you don’t control your problems, your problems control you.
  7. Truly love at least one woman in your lifetime.
  8. Smile; but don’t smile too much. People wont trust you.
  9. Laugh; but not too loud. People wont take you seriously.
  10. Don’t be surprised when friends desert you.
  11. Love your family.
  12. Teach an old dog new tricks.
  13. Teach a new dog old tricks.
  14. If you are going to fight, fight for love. Fighting for politics and religion aren’t worth it. Politics change every four years and God’s already won.
  15. The sole purpose of a man is to love God and love people.  You can’t show God love without loving people.
  16. People may not like you but they’ll respect you if you do the right thing.

  47. Tip well and be kind to waitresses or they’ll spit in your plate. Who knows, you might get a little extra food.
  48. Most of the time when people are rude to you it is not your fault. They might have had a bad day before you came in.
